I have to remember to let my car warmup before playing.
I also warned everyone in my family to be careful of my maxima.org stickers if they feel like being nice and scraping my windows for me. They've had a bad record for having bad things happen to my car when they were trying to help me out. My mom washed my car for me which I appreciated alot, but she left scrap marks in the hood because she used one of those hand pads and rocks became embeded into it, that was on my black car. On my white one she was trying to clean my windows for me when I first bought it (I had just replaced the tranny and was waiting for insurance to come threw), anyway she used the green part of the pad to try and get this crud off my window but ended up scratching the tint.

I had the same problem this year. I did a search and discovered the fuel line issues. I checked the lines but didn't find any cracks. BUT I did find the every one of the hose clamps were loose, I left them as is and waited for the morning. When I checked in the morning 3 connections were slightly weeping fuel. I tighten the ones I could reach, which solved most of the problem. I have since pulled the intake and changed out all the hoses. I also changed the clamps to gear style clamps. I think the problem (mine anyway) was with the factory clamp backing off due to extreme temperature changes and vibration.

Might be worth checking on you car.

Just so you and everyone else knows, There are special clamps for fuel injection. While most people do not use them or even know they exist.
They may work better than conventional clamps

Ever since I got my max last year it drove like a champ in the snow while my mother's 2002 2.5L Altima couldn't handle a few inches of the white stuff. I love my max. But I just have a little thermo problem and it take forever to heat up and it gives off a terrible odor while it heats up. Does anyone know what this odor is?

Damn, I thought I replied to this earlier.
Just spin the engine a bit it'll heat up.
Mine doesn't like the low revs for heat.
as soon as I spin it, BAM! there's my heat

Mine loves the cold. Nothing weird to report except for the power door locks work sometimes. I'm too lazy to put a new timer in.

Guys, I can't remember, are we supposed to change our oil every 3-4 months on low mileage cars right?

I was planning on doing a write up after I dyno. The car is still running strong, swapped from a t4 to t4/t3 hybrid and im trying to baby her (its get too cold to work outside)
I'll be waiting for this writeup with open arms. I've been collecting parts here and there for the setup and have just invested in a MIG welder. Most of the info is on the board but not a alot of references to the VE besides yours.
How come you changed from a T4 to a T4/T3 hybrid and what is the AR on the hybrid?

The only issues I have with winter are harder shifts and being da*m cold before the car warms up.

Seamax, if you have a manual, switch to synthetic tranny fluid.

Man, thought I was feeling more torque. But I was playing last night on the way home and I've seem to have a loss in power. Can't even break traction anymore from a stand still. (Well barely.)
