Attn: *ALL WHO WANT WHITE GUAGE FACES*
There already is a set avail. but they don't look that hot. I can't remeber who makes em but the lines/space that allows the light to shine through is too wide/white so they look funky.
I don't mean to rip on Ngthing's guages....its just that one from avalon look soooooooo TIGHT! Its hard to see in the pic cuz its from a distance but check out the "8" on the rpm guage. You can see how it looks like a big black outline and white in the middle even during the day.

Now the team from Avalon wanted to get some numbers to see what the reaction is to their guages. They would make em for us if they see the demand. Remember....they're not some general aftermarket co. but rather specificaly with nissan. That means there is a good chance that with some real interest that they will make em. Here is a sample from the current 4th gen production.

The cost of the 4th gen I belive is under 100 bucks. I just want a quality piece if I do it.
How would buy?
I would!

I got those overlays from ngthing also, and I guess they don't look too bad. My HUGE problem is that my guages no longer work, (well most of them anyways). When pulling off the needles to do the overlays, some of the steel pins came out too, thus when I put them back together, there is too much friction and the needles don't turn as freely as they should. Ay ideas? I colored my needles blue also, and they are too dark to see at night.
If I can't get this fixed, I am trying to find some '92-'94 SE guages from an automatic. I think those would fit. Any idea?

Isaacm,
No.....the 92-94se guages won't work. Well.....they may physically work(or may not) but the speedo and tach would be off. Their tach redlines at 6500 vs. ours at 6K and the mph goes up to 145 vs. our 125.
Even if the guages did work(they may not beacuse the tranny is different....different vss most likely)you would get inaccurate readings.

All you need are 89-91 SE gauges. those are white, w/ same motor.
