Ok my 3rd tail light in my spoiler decided to stop working this week. I replaced both bulbs, and checked the fuses. All the fuses are fine, but still the third brake light doesn't work. Any ideas of what could be keeping this from working? I need to get my car inspected, its actually overdue.

 

check the wiring harness/connector for it. A voltmeter would be handy here but not necessary.

 

UMM... A meter is very neccessary in this case. You have to find where the power stops at in order to fix it

 

or you could use the light bulb from your glove box. I've done it before, not fun but it worked.

 

Thanks fellas. I took a voltmeter to it, and after about 35 minutes of checking different places, I found a break inside all the electric tape that nissan wraps the wires in. Took me forever to get to it, but its all fixed now. As to how the heck the wire broke in there, is mind boggling, but whatever. Thanks again.
