replacement probably takes about 1 hour or so...(the "or so" is if they have to struggle to get the stubborn fuel lines back on
) truthfully its a very easy job, you could probably do it yourself if comfortable.

My fuel pump quit last year and after some research here and on other boards I found the Walbro aftermarket kits. It is an easy 1 hour job.
You pull the fuel pump fuse and start the car to drain off any fuel pressure, remove the bottom rear seat and take the fuel pump out from the top of the fuel tank. Remove old pump from the bracket, assemble the Walbro parts and reinstall.
Dealer wanted $450, did it myself for right at $100.
Here's a link to the parts involved:

Walbro has about 3 pumps listed for our cars. a high volume low pressure, a high pressure low volume, and a high pressure high volume.
Go with the "low pressure high volume" pump. unless you're planning NOS or turbo, then you don't need the high pressure one. the high volume, low pressure one will work GREAT on your car.
