Battery Cables

Does anybody know how long positive and negative battery cables are? - I'm going to replace the factory ones with 1ga cables.
And one more question. There is some sort of a terminal attached to the positive terminal - what exactly is it? - just a terminal or ... anyting else?

Thanx!

as for Length, I dont know. Might just want to grab a ruler. For the power, if your going to use a new power cable you might want to use new terminals. Get ones with multiple inputs on the power because the stock connector has 3 inputs.

Yeap - I'm going to order new wires with new terminals already attached (custom manufactured - I don't like aftermarket terminals). The only thing I'm not sure about is length. And I didn't find any specs anywhere ...

Ask Matt. He did the ground wire deal, I'm sure he's got SOME idea of the measurements. Or can at least get you in the right direction.
