How much should a timing belt job cost?

dude, do it yourself, it's really not that hard, I actually just took the belt off my max today, believe it or not. But I have bigger issues to deal with(my broken crankshaft). You don't have to remove the engine or anything, and you'll save a buttload of money. I can tell you it could possibly be an all day job, maybe even 2, depending on your experience, but well worth the time.
P.S. it would be an easy learning experience too.

of course I'd have to recommend that you buy the parts from someone here![Wink](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
