hey, new to this board. i have a 91 with 165k on it, auto.

i flushed the core, everything seems fine there, coolent is topped of and i bled all the air out of the system. once at opperating temp, the heater is somewhat hot, but not that great in my opinion. is this common with this year maxima?

yeh man....with me i got the same problem....engine dont overheat...but when i gun it then the heat kicks in real nice...(i guess thas my excuse to the local authorities....hehe) my pops said the thermostat is gone..hopefully its only your thermostat.
