shaved trunk lid and skyline lights

shaved trunk lid and skyline lights

i her the skyline lights fit the max with some body work. im thinkin about shaving the trunk and using skyline lights.

will this work?

Anything will work with enough effort...
bodywork is all it takes to fit anything on there..........
but try something original. skyline tails have been done... and they don't maky you any faster- or even look faster.

actually i was looking at lancer tails too. im not looking for any speed, just some diferent stuff. i havent seen skyline tails on a max b4. im waiting for my friend to bring his lancer over to measure them up, but i doubt theyd fit.

at least i not gonna put a 5 foot wing on the back

There are very few, if any, lights that will go directly in without a good deal of body work.

if you plan on doing it yourself, it's not going to be easy and if it's your first time, it probably wont turn out very well either
if you plan on having someone do it for you, it wont be cheap if you want it done right

i doubt i would do it, i was pretty much just curious if it could be done by myself coz im not gona get someone to do it for me. im too poor. then again i did do some sweet bondo work on my truck.

How much difference in size is there you think between the R33's and our Max's taillights. From a look i would think it isn't all that much of a difference in size. ???

I don't know if any of you guys saw the G35 stlye tails on a 4th gen in the general forums, but that would look sweet on a 3rd gen. Sorry I can not credit the owner, I forgot his name.

Yeah man i saw those and they are hella sweet !! I am sourcing to try and get some LEDs to maybe try and do that on my Max but all of the leds are smaller. I wish I knew the guy that did it on the 4th gen and I could just get the size from him. Can anyone help ?

his name is Tony AIM araffio there just regular LED bulbs that he wired up in rows with resistors. Just go on ebay and get some LEDs

Do you know his .Org name I dont use AIM. I would like to talk to him and maybe get some pointers and parts he used for his installation.

Araffio Im sure he'll answer your questions but I wouldnt expect him to tll you how to do it since he likes to keep his ideas original.
