I know a new cross memeber was in the works, esp. for Matt because he has troubles keeping them in 1 peice.

I remember you told me before, I forget if you wanted a roll cage or not, but Brian already mentioned that.

Not sure about Coil overs or not
I should find that other thread

New chassis? well it might as well be... I've started investigating some other chassis stiffeners..... Much lighter than 2" steel tubing, and can provide tons of improvement over reducing ground clearance with steel poles welded to the frame!

Hey Matt, can I just go ahead and get my paycheck deposited into your account? It'll save a lot of time that way in the long run I think.

Update.... I've got all of the RSTBs bent and about 1/2 the welding done. As soon as it stops raining, I'll get back to work on it. I can't weld when it's raining because I gotta have the garage open to vent the smoke... (and unfinished steel, rain, and huge amounts of electricity don't mix well!)

But they're coming.. stay tuned. should be starting to ship out by tomorrow or Thursday.
I'm going to try to ship the ones that paid first first, but it shouldn't be much more than a couple days difference between first and last.
Special orders with a Lower Tie bar or ground kits and stuff are going to take a little longer, as I still have to put all those together too.
I'm hoping to ship everything out by early next week on the ones that have paid so far.
The rest of you that have paid your deposits, go ahead and send the rest of the $$. The ones that just want an RSTB, The final price will be $72 for the states, and $77 to Canada to cover the extra shipping.. (so if you already paid your $30 deposit, you owe $42 or $47).

The cutting, welding, bolts, etc for the first 25 RSTBs is complete. I just need to clean, prime, and paint. will start on that tomorrow.

I've ordered more brackets and end links also, but it'll be a week or so before they get here... Right now, I've got about 22-23 orders, plus several more said they wanted in, but didn't have $$... so I've got the parts on order, and the first 25 that sent me $$ will get them first.

As fo the lower tie bars and stuff, I've got a couple stage I bars made up, and I'm going to start on the rest of them as soon as I get the painting done. so those will go out a couple/few days after the people who ordered only the RSTB.
Ground kits will also fall into that category..

As for right now, the group deal price is still on for three more days! Get in while they're still cheap!

update:

you guys that wanted custom colors or anything, please PM me and let me know. otherwise I'm painting them all black.
My bookkeeping wasn't so hot on that part of the orders, so I want to make sure I get the proper colors to the right people.
so far, here's what I've got:

CrazyIzzy: Primer RSTB
amaxima: Red- RSTB and Stage I
anaximander: Primer RSTB

I know there were others that wanted special colors, but I'm too lazy to spend the hours reading through 10 pages of paypal logs and the 5-600 messages in my email account... if you'll help me out, I'll help you out.

Hey, Matt. What's the projected price for the brake kit that you have in the works. (I believe)

I was checking out my rotors yesterday, and they're not looking to good. I guess at 165k I should start thinking about replacing them. And if I'm doing brakes, I need to really do brakes. (you know what I mean!)

I have no idea why anyone would want the RSTB painted since you probably won't see it again or just a couple more times after the install. You're just making it unnecessarily harder for matt (plus delaying shipment).

these are steel.. they need to be painted, otherwise they rust. they rust VERY quickly too. After welding one of the brackets, I dunked it in water to cool it down, then put it on the floor to dry.. an hour later, the whole bracket was brown and I had to spray rust remover on it before I could even hit it with primer.

after that, I kept a coat of oil on all the steel parts until I'm ready to paint them.

As for the brakes, the kit is priced at $475 for everything but the calipers... that's all four brake lines (SS lines, custom made by Goodridge themselves), front brackets, mounting hardware, and a pair of front rotors.
the only thing you need to supply are calipers and pads. I can also supply those if you want, but you can find them for the same prices as I can- so it's easier on me not to spend days calling people and sniping on ebay for calipers.
