Your math is correct-ish, but there really is no mathematical relationship between the section width and the sidewall height (that "72mm" number).... What are you trying to figure out anyway?

Doing it manually is too clunky.

205/65-15 = 215/60-15 = for every size up you go you go down one one in aspect. For a +2 rim diameter you go you to a 235/45-17 on at least a 7.5" width. or a 225/50-17 for a 7" width. My brain is not working too well this morning so that is as far as I can go today..

Whats the total? www.wheelmax.com has a good selection of 17's at decent prices, tires-n-shipping included.

Ok, since www.tirerack.com lets you put wheels on your car, but doesnt carry American Racing wheels, using my great Photoshop skills I put together this picture of what the rims will look like on my car. They are 16x7 American Racing 'AR TOURINGS.' How do they look!?

i prefer a wheel with a lip, even if it is slight. but that is not always a rule. those you picked look great. they will not break the bank and you can get around with style and get noticed. be sure to lower the car. or plan to; for me, that is part of the wheel package.

ps - if you're gonna eyeing something from Wheelmax, consider waiting for their clearance sale next october.
I got my rims and tires for $499, mounted and balanced and hardware from Wheelmax.
I waited since last December, so can you. Spend your savings of $300 on other mods and reward yourself for the patience.

One thing about going with 16's instead of 17's is that fewer people will bug you about wheelgap because 16's don't have as much dead space in them as 17's do, so the gap isn't as apparent. This means you don't really have to lower it unless you want to do it for looks or handling.

go ahead and swap the front and rear sway bars for beefier ones. i have ST. bear in mind, too, that it is slim pickin's for gen3 aftermarket support in this area. when you do this suspension mod, you will sh!it a brick at how different your car feels.
and get a front strut tower brace as well (FSTB). in my philosophy, the wheel package *ASSUMES* that the suspension will all change. do not do half-measures. just say fu*K it and do it.

Well it's December 25th...and can I say Merry Christmas! I got my wheels today, yes, all 4! They look great, Won't have them on the car until spring break, and I still gotta get tires, but anyway here ya go!

It's kind of funny
you have wheels but no tires, I have tires but no wheels, so I know how you feel. I also noticed you got a little detailing kit there too. Do yourself a favour and ditch the peanut sponge. Get a sheepskin or microfiber mitt instead.
