Clock Pinout

I was wondering if anyone knows the pinout for our clock? I have an extra one and I wanted to make into a clock for my room. I dont know how long it will last running 24/7.....

Well lets hope you make at least 10 cents per hour so you can buy a new one when that one burns out.

No guarantees. You might have a million dollars by the time it does in fact burn out.

I'll tinker with my spare for you. I'll probably just use a 9v battery.

Technically you should use 8 1.5v batteries, or a 9v + 2 1.5v's, or a computer power supply or inverter or something to power it.

look on the circuit board of the clock and it says right there

looking at front of circuit board
1 2
x 3
x 4
5 6

1 bat (constant 12V)
2 gnd (ground)
3 light (power when parking lights are on - dim)
4 acc (switch 12V)
5 ill (ground for parking light illumination - comes from door lock timer)
6 not used

so power on 1 and 4 with ground on 2 should be all you need, you could even put a switch on 4 to make it not display all the time, but still keep time (like the car being off)

what I did was cut the wiring harness off a parts car, then just wired it up to my computer

It was hard to get a good picture off, and nearly impossiable with the flash on (numbers wouldnt show up So I had to turn the flash off.

Get rid of that Mickey Mouse camera you got for your 8th birthday and get with the times, and you wouldn't HAVE that problem...
