I am confused now...you said you wanted instructions on the E36 install but now you are talking about installing S13 headlights.

Good luck in finding info on this though because you will be the poineer on it.

let us know how it turns out and take pics.

Rumor has it that these lights aren't as tall as ours are, so you'd be looking at filling in a lot of space. I definately want to see how this turns out.

Oh, and if you want the dimensions of the original headlights, here they are (keep in mind, this is just the lens measurements - NOT any of the bracketing or such):

W = 14" (measured from the bottom edge of the bulb, from the corner lens to the grill)
H = 5" (measured the very front center of the lens)
D = 8 1/2" (measured from the front center of the lens, back to where the bulb opening)

Hey thanks you guys were pretty helpful, i asked about the E36's because I might be able to use the same wiring
instructions atleast. as far as not being as tall as stock
i could center the light cluster between gaps and make some kind of flush metal surface so it looks clean

here are the pics of them "test fitted" on my old car....as you can see they DON'T line up with the stock hood(too short), they DON'T fit the contours of the front bumper(they go WAAY over the edge), they DON'T fit depth wise(there has to be some major structural cutting) and they DON'T fit length wise....now do they fit on a certain someone elses car? well thats another story, those pics I can't show you all just yet

That would've been MY thought, too. Maybe even go so far as using the S13 grille and just "building up" on the upper edge of the bumper.

Wish I had the measurements for the opening, but that was the best I could do on short notice. What is the width of the lenses you're getting? Will they even come close to what the 3rd gen lenses are? Just curious.

Man i'm sorry but the lights in your pic DA-MAX look crappy as hell. I guess its back to the drawing board, I just want to accomplish something new, but that will take some time.
