Oil Pressure Warning Light...Help

Just replaced the fuel injectors on my 92 Max, 158K. Shortly thereafter, the oil pressure warning light came on. If I accelerate, it flashes, or it I hit a bump it does the same thing. It could be an electrical prob, but just wanted to see if anyone had run into the same thing!

Well I can't say that I've had the problem.
But have you checked your oil level?
Checked the connector to make sure it is clipped in correctly and tightly?

oh dear god,,,, dont drive until youve actually determined if the oil level is low. the light signifies that you have about 5 lbs of pressure in the oil system. 5 lbs is baaaad.

Use your ears as a diagnostic tool and listen to your engine. As stated the oil light is rated to come on about 5 psi but I'm sure if you had 5psi you will also be getting A LOT of engine noise, valve tapping etc. I've ran out of oil twice with my VE and trust me it's not a pretty noise. If you have no engine noise it's probably a loose connection. The oil pressure switch is located behind the alternator. Enjoy

Candiman is right it is not a pretty sound... Take the worst sounding VTCs you can think of and multiply that by alot... metal on metal contact does not sound good at all... if the oil light stays on and there is noise check the oil filter to make sure it is still on tight

When my engine got louder due to lack of oil I shut it right off after I heard it.. there was still oil on the dipstick even though it was below the low mark... so even though there was a little oil left in the engine it still probably damaged it? That sucks hardcore... I guess that will give me an excuse to drop my other, non-ticking, non stalling, non oil-burning VE engine in my car...

Check your oil as soon as possible, I' ve already been through one engine because of a similar problem but my oil light never came on. Consider yourself lucky that your getting a warning!!

There was damage done, Chances are nothing to major though.
I'm not sure how resistant to knocking the VE motor is
I know my old 305 was extremely resistant.
Ran it out of oil numerous times, Filled it back up and she was quiet again
