well today at luch it started fine, then leave the restaurant and it hesitated a bit when cranking, then couple hours later after school to go home i turn it on and it cranked SLOW but finally got the engine started, then got home parked it for 5 minutes, went back out to check it and it was dead. had to jump start took a ride around for a while and got a voltage count of 11.4 at idle and in the 12's when moving at around 2-3k rpm. hmm so what do you guys think? bad alternator or what? dammit and it was running perfectly this whole time before...

also my sub was cutting out way early and was barley playing, but i dont think this is the cause, just an effect from the low voltage count, right?

When mine died (alternator) it exhibited symptoms like what you are describing. Check the voltage with the lights on as this is when mine showed the fault. At idle with no accessories on the output was OK. With load it could keep up.

Brent.
