Yeah, I saw it in queens to, by Jamaica Ave. I couldn't tell what taillights they were in person, but with the pics, they do look like BMW lights

that car was featured on custom maxima a while back. i'm not sure if it was for sale there or just submitted photos by the owner to showcase on the site.
i appreciate the custom aspect of the ride but i don't really like its look that much.

Looks like he really wanted a BMW instead!

Do like the mirror mod though.
I may have to do that.

I wonder what material they used for these 'eyebrows'???

And am I on some kinda high-speed pharmaceuticals, or is his hood "notched" around the headlight area?? That'd be one way of getting around the whole 'BMW lights not fitting the Maxima lines exactly' issue.

yup its notched and is one of the ideas I had a long time ago to make my headlights fit before I decided to use the covers. I didnt want to go through all the work involved to do it and am glad I didnt do it because I remember seeing this car a while back (after I already did the covers anyway) when it was on ebay and remebered I didnt like the look of the hood notched...I still dont btw.

Yeah, it looks like it's even an auto. I don't get why anybody would want a car like that but that is just me.

wrote a big reply and it timed out so im got dooing it again. the hood is extended to match the grille since it was layed over the lights and not cut to fit flush with them. the tails are 325, mid 90's. i met the guy 2-3 yrs ago when it was light blue, dunno if its the same owner or not though

Yep just like the skyline, wrx, and any other tails. They will fit with the right modifications.
