It's the UK/Aussie/NZ spec grille. didn't come on the US cars.

(What kinda seats are in that car? looks like different headrests at least)

i guess since the i30 and the max where about one in the same, they made it for the max to make it look like the i30. And yea, they werent for US cars.

there seems to be a polarized response to that euro spec grille thingy. one either likes it, or they really don't like it. i think many who like it do so because it is hard to get, like 2k3titianium said.

I like it because I think it would look nice on my car in my color (Aztec Red) or maybe even black. I think it would look even better with E36 lights.

That's a New Zealand Max (can tell by courier van in the picture) & is a 92-94 "face-lift" model. Earlier model had nicer grille. Suspect is base-spec or one above (S or SL) with cloth seats, which accounts for Stanza-like head-rests. Upper models (SE & SEL) that have leather are same as USDM/JDM - SEL grilles are similar but don't have center divider & are chrome = much nicer.

My kid loves to go fast. I went drifting in the snow in my QX4 the other day and he was giggling and grinning ear-to-ear.

You know, I like Chris 91SE's grill even better. It looks more like a "V" and less like a "Y" but I think they are both cool.

EdzMax, I will send you a PM, I might be interested in some kind of trade. I just got an LED spoiler, so I will be sending it to be painted after the snow melts. If I could get one, I could get them painted at the same time.
