I have a 1989 SE w/160k...and I have a tranny question.
When driving at cruising speeds the rpm neddle will fly up
like I switched the overdrive....w/out the speeds going up...I'm no mechanic but this sounds bad....even used trannys from a yard are around $700....would like to know how to fix or possible solutions to this problem

sorry dude your tranny is shot
its time to find a shop to do a rebuild..
