Maintenence for 164k mi?
Maintenence for 164k mi?
I've had the car since 143k miles, tranny went a week after I bought it, about a year ago in august. Had a leak in rebuilt tranny(ceals), took it back, they "fixed it", a year later Was checking the tranny fluid becuase it was acting strange, and there was no fluid on the dipstick! Took it back, they supposely "actually" fixed it this time. But when I check the fluid, there is black stuff (presumably metal shavings) when I initially check it.
Besides that I've had the injectors changed, the fuel filter, been keeping up with regular oil changes, changed spark plugs, changed ORIGINAL spark plug wires with NGK blue, changed air filter to JWI, got WSP Y-pipe, but besides this, what other stuff can I do to replenish lost power, or inexpensively gain slight performance/less rough idle? I read grounding stuff better helps with power and the way in which the transmission shifts, but what kind of stuff to do? My idle is kinda rough....
