Yesterday In Southern IN we got hit with some really heavy snow. Needless to say I got stuck and in the process of trying to get the Max out I believe I seriously #**^%^ my engine up. All of a sudden my car starts making this horrible knocking noise upon revving and it won't go away. It doesn't do this at all during idle, but needless to say, I think I killed her. It's gettin towed to a shop in the next couple of hours for a diagnostic, let us all pray for the best! I know, I'm retarded, but pride wouldn't let me keep my car stuck. Sympathies or suggestions only, please.....lol

I dont see how/why this would happen, hmmm.
My guess is maybe something came loose? I dunno.

 

When my power steering pump went, it made a loud knocking sound like a really f%cked up engine.

 

Look for loose bolts.
My old minivan did that to me. I thought I blew the engine.
NOPE, it was the torque convertert bolts.

Did the knock always stay there when the power steering pump went out, or just when you accelerated?
