Helo motor acting up

The other day i did a compression test on my car and i bumped the timing. in the process i messed up two coil packs but didn't pay much attention. The next day the car started to act weird it would shut off on me randomly like if somebody turned the ignition off at any time. Anyways i went and bought the two coil packs but the problem is still there. I got frustrated and disconnected one of the coild packs and the problem went away. The car had a misfire but at least it wansn't turning off. I was thinking maybe bad AFM or a bad coil pack connector. What do you think i need to solve this problem ASAP

I have checked every connection and nothing seems to be wrong. Could the AFM do this?
