Clutch bleeding

Hey anyone who can help me. Yesterday i replaced my master cylinder and bled it. For some reason the engagement was all the at the top. Then today when i was driving the clutch started to slip and it got worse and worse. It felt like the clutch was only partially engaged. So i cracked the bleed screw on the slave cylinder and fluid shot out like there was too much in the system and it was keeping the clutch partially disengaged. After I did that it was fine, but it seems like after awile it keeps pumping up and partially disengaging the clutch. What i did was hook up the master cylinder to the pedal then put sum fluid in it and pumped it till it came out the side. After that i put the hose back onto the master cylinder and pressurized the line by pumping it and then while holding the pedal to the floor my friend cracked the bleed valve on the slave cylinder Repeted the process till there was no air. What am i missing? There is some sort of metal box with a few lines going in and out with a bleed vaalve that is inline with the master and slave cylinder, like a proportioning valve. Do i have to mess with that? Thanx!

Bump, can someone please help me? I left my car idel for 30 minutes and when i got back in the clutch was really stiff and I could hardly get down the road it was slipping so bad. I had to let some fluid out of the line so that the clutch was engaged.

I've always had success with simply gravity bleeding the clutch system. Fill the reservoir, crack the bleeder screw and simply let the fluid flow out by itself without anyone pumping. When the fuild is flowing with dripping close the screw and you're done. Always worked for me. Hopefully you don't have any other underline problems
