tech men check this out

ok i bought a 1990 maxima se 5 speed ran good for 1 damn day.(i bought it monday and yesterday was tuesday), yesterday i was driving to work and it just shut off. no warning just shut off. now i was thinking ut uh timing belt like what heppend in my 89. but it still cranks and everything. so i thought it wasnt getting gas i went and got the fuel pump out of my 89 and put it in whatta ya know(now i had to walk mighy far to get to my 89 so it had time to cool off) I started to i drive it a little ways down 66th street and it stalled again. ok i thought so i checked rotor and cap again rotor did seem warn but i didnt think anything of itbefore. well i changed the rotor because it was 930 at night and stores were closed so i used one of my maxs old ones that still ahd a little life left. then it started and ran fine all the way home so i figured it musthave been losing fire cuz of crappy cap rotor and wires. well i went to get into it and drive it 10 mins later and it wouldnt start same thing just turn but no fire????wtf???????? something must not wanna work right when it gets warm do any of you know what this could be?? ever have this problem? pm me or reply on here if you have any info that can help thanks guys.....

Mine did this. Its a 93 SE though, no cap and wires. I had a couple bad coils and fuel pump relay. The coils would trip the computer and it shuts off fuel to rails. Somehow that messed up relay....Just my experience.....I changed filters, MAF, Crank sensor, etc with no results....Look for bad wire at head where it can ground. If nothing else try the fuel relay, its in the truck under the latch(on mine), they are cheap.

P.S. my relay checked fine at store and on bench failed under load!
