Can't easily find the answer to this question, so here goes:

Has anyone had the wiper mechanism fail? Motor working, making nice clunking noises under the hood, but no wiper movement? If so, what's the fix? Going to look at it tomorrow and wanted to know if it was a loose bolt typically, or if something has snapped. Thanks!

There's a Ball-Socket that comes loose in the wiper trans. If it does you usually have to buy a new trans. You can snap it back on but it usually dont last long. Pray for a loose nut!

Ice on W/S causes this or too heavy snow, or a mad car wash...
