So my car is fixed, now I gotta drive it but here's what I did (a bit long)

So on Sunday Jason (N34JZ) came down to the shop to hang out and stuff. I asked him to let me swap his MAF into my car and see if it fixes the problem. The car popping went away and the car was idling really well, but keep in my mind Shawn's (Mr.Gone) ECU is hooked up to my car. So I take my car out for a ten minute drive and no problems in driving it nicely or hard car is not hesitating, it is just pulling and feels like what my car use to feel like, GOOOD!. So in my last post I asked about what would be a good MAF to buy and in that thread Paul (KlownPR109) sold me a used MAF which I got within two days, thanks for the fast shipping. So when I go the shop I install it and the car is cold and keep in mind that the stock ECU is in there and that Shawn's ECU was taken out. So my car is warming up and it fluctuates, like it surges and my mechanic and I are like what the hell. So I take a drive to Star Nissan where a fellow org. member works and I go pick up some parts and on the way back I'm like what if its my ECU, so when I get back from the Nissan dealership I decide to install Shawn's ECU, I wasn't going to change my MAF because if I was to put back the other MAF the popping noise would start and that already told me that my old MAF was bad. So I install Shawn's ECU and let the car get real cold by putting it outside, when its real cold I turn it on and it warms up perfectly, no nothing, no fluctuations no popping nothing at all! I am so happy this point but the dreaded drive is still what I had to do in order to find out if it was fixed. So I pull out and take it for a drive, the car didn't give me a single problem, it reacts real well, nice and smooth in every gear. I took it on the highway and up to redline in 4th gear and not a problem. On the way back I drove it real nice and not a problem either. I was real happy until I got to a light where my car sounded like a mustang I'm like what now, go back to the shop it goes on the lift and guess what my Greddy resonator welds were gone lol. So I called Greddy since I have warranty and tell them my situation and they told me that I needed to send it in so that they can evaluate it and I'm like what am I going to use in the mean time, so I said forget and my mechanic got his welder and welded the resonator back on. I didn't really care about the weld but I was happy that my car wasn't hesitating anymore. I was scared I would never get this problem fixed and what ****ed me off was that my car has only 90,000 miles and it would be ashame if I had to drive it with that problem forever. Well I am not 100% it fixed my problem since I drove it for half an hour last night but today at 6 I am picking my car up and then the real test starts. I will update you guys on how it goes. Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions (3rd gen members) and help in shipping me parts so quickly (N34JZ, Mr.Gone, Matt93se and KlownPR109).

Thanks,
Diego

Well I picked it up and drove it home and so far so good. Feels real good and my muffler must of been leaking real bad since it got real quiet I can barely hear it now. Well I am going out for a drive tonight everywhere to test it out. I'll keep you guys updated.
