use paintscratch.com or look on your info tag under the hood (silver tag on firewall) BUT if you dont trust them to get the right color why in the world are you letting them do the work?

IMO let the professional painters do what they know to do and dont try to tell them how to do their job. That will tick them off.

as a reminder, even if you buy the "correct" paint
rest assured that on a 14yr old car it will no longer be the same exact shade as the original.
take it to someplace that can paint match on site.

Most decent body shops will paint match as part of their process. Like Awsm66 said, don't bother trying to tell them how to do their work. Just keep an eye on the area you are getting painted and if it doesn't match, call them on it and make them do it right.

Is that pic right? You have 407K miles on your car? Daym, that's impressive. I hope mine goes that long. But, since I only drive a couple of thousand miles a year, it will have that many miles in about 50 years.

thanks guys, I don't know why I didn't realize that they'd match it themselves, didn't even occur to me. And yeah the odometer pic is real, it's actually about 408 right now, but they're km's not miles, still pretty impressive though, still runs strong.
