Chrome Rings for 89-94 MAX

I've been working with a guy from MotorStorm.com and he has machined some real sharp looking chrome rings for the guages.
take a look:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43951

That is an actual picture of rings on the max with the black background.

let me know what you guys think.

those look tight, except for the studio-like picture, might not look that good in real life

well don't get all excited yet. the seller is a org member. it looks like $50 is the regular price.

if it goes under $40 it'll be great...but i think that's about the lowest it'll go unless he's feeling generous or we got A LOT of people actually buying.

WTF? Guess I don't see much point in it.. they dont' match anything that's in the car already- at least for 99% of us anyway.

to each their own. I'll make goodies for under the car, not in it.

I'm not trying to hate on it, just voicing my opinion..

Honestly, how many people have cars that CHROME would look good on the interior of the car? maybe three 3rd gens... total.
otherwise, it's a little goofy, IMO. but again- it's your car, your preferences.
but you can't get too mad when I point and laugh.

that pic just makes them stand out too much, im sure a better pic would help

if they look subtle like this then it would look good against the dash/interior like the 4th gens...

Hello Everyone. I just finished 25 sets of chrome gauge rings about 5 days ago. Yes my picture is a little too nice. I spend way too much time trying to snap attractive pictures and all I end up doing is scaring people because they think they are too thick. Anyways these rings are very sharp. When you look at them from straight on they appear to be very thin. I just wanted to get a side shot to show how detailed they are. The price on ebay may seem high but similar rings used to go for $65 for the 4th generation, and people didn't cry one bit about paying it. The 4th generation rings currently go for $33-39. I'm only asking $40 for each set shipped which comes with instructions and adhesive. These rings are not made in china! They are constructed here in the U.S. If anyone wants a set then just log onto www.paypal.com and submit your funds to my email address. Phsinvent@aol.com Also be sure to leave a note of the exact item you are purchasing. Please don't just put gauge rings in the subject because I currently stock 15 different types of gauge rings. I can custom plate a set of rings with real gunmetal for $10 extra if anyone is interested. Thanks

Also they will fit right over an aftermarket bezel such as aluminum or carbon fiber. You guys might think they look strange but they don't stand out much and all of the new cars today are coming with similar rings. The light from your gauges will create a nice light halo at night too. Check out the other rings on my site. These 3rd generation rings look the same. Thanks!!!

I think they only look great in the second picture because the interior of the 4th gen is silvery. Nothing to do with a 3rd Gen. But that's just my opinion...

These rings aren't obnoxious like you guys might think. When you look at them straight on they are less than a quarter inch thick.

I have many different shades of gunmetal. The picture here is the old style dark gunmetal. I have a newer light gunmetal coating that looks more like real metal. Thanks
