common sense says to use other links. google gives many answers, not just ebay.

or you could look at your friendly neighborhood parts specialists website, as the answer is there as well.

84-86 300zx clutch works and in most cases it handles more torque than the maxima ones.

Works for a VE also? That's what this guy has. I think there is a difference because Fidanza has diff p/n for VG/VE. ie.. diff # of PP bolts or pattern.

The disc itself is the same, but the pressure plate is different.
ALL 3.0 Maximas take the same clutch and it is a Maxima/I30 clutch only

i believe the only difference in the fidanza for the ve and vg is the 6 bolt pattern on the vg compared to the 8 bolt on the ve. pressure place bolts should be identical.

i ordered a spec stage 3 clutch for a 84-86 300zx turbo and everything lines up on my vg fidanza flywheel.

be absolutely sure you order one for the 84-86 though. the 87-89 300zx turbo is a 250 mm clutch compared to our 240 mm.

here's a break down

84-86 normally aspirated - 240 mm works on our cars
84-86 turbo - 240 mm works
87-89 normally aspirated - 240 mm works
87-89 turbo - 250 mm does not work on our cars

i just say to get the 84-86 clutch just to be on the safe side and generally the turbo clutches hold more torque than the n/a clutches.

stage 2 and 3 on the spec clutches have a sprung hub so it makes street driving much better.
