One more headlights conv. done (with AE)
Just installed new headlights with blue AE (they are much brighter and look great - camera's flash makes 'em dimmed completely).
I have clear coners but they look more like yellow on the picture.
Should I replace bulbs in it with "blue" ones or just "white"?
What do you think?
Here is not the best picture (also it's snowing

Nice, those are the AE versino of Brad92SE's lights from Procarparts, no?
If so, I have a question for you. My only beef with those is the blue LED color. Would you mind looking around the rings and seeing if you can alter the LED bulb driving the AE rings? Or is the ring actually blue plastic? I would appreciate it.
BTW, how much ($250)?
Looks slick, I must say.

Do you have any daylight pics? And yeah, I would recommed some hyperwhite bulbs, they are nice and bright. I don't think blue corner lights are legal.

$35 for healights and 9005 / 9006 adapters
$15 for AE (including LEDs)
$10 for silicone seal
$5 for metal (brackets)
total: $65

EDIT: AE rings are clear but LEDs are blue - I still have no idea why I picked blue color (but they look very nice in the dark)

I bought my set in the same condition (lens faded and yellowish).
it took me 2.5-3 hours of polishing job to make 'em look almost like new

Talking of a custom aluminum grill ...
Would it make sence to make it the same width as headlights?
Continue with a rubber seal under it (the same way it is under headlights). Also there would be the same gap above headlights AND grill.
The next question is ...
1. Make a plate from steel and weld it to the hood (even shape eyebrows at the bottom on each side) ... make smooth all around and paint (a lot og work) or ...
2. Glue a rubber seal (only option for black in color) at the bottom of the hood or ...
3. Make plastic cover (paintable) and bolt it to the grill and headlight housings
What do you think, guys?
