Hi Everyone, I just installed some ST springs and I took my car to Tire Kingdom to get it alligned because I have a 3 year policy with them. Well they said that my camber and caster are off and that they can't adjust them. They mentioned that I need camber bushings. Anyways my left side is -.84 and my right side is -1.01. Is this bad?? I plan on buying some camber kits from Ingalles. Does anyone know where to get a good deal on them??

A word of warning!! Don't believe anything these auto shop places tell you. The service guy at Tire Kingdom didn't seem to know what he was talking about and was trying to offer me all types of sh*t.

One thing they did tell me was that my rack and pinion is leaking that I would have to get it fixed to properly get my car alligned. I think be was bullsh*ting me. Is he right or wrong??

Thank again,
Kevin

Caster is not adjustable on our cars, camber is adjustable with some new bolts that cost about $30/set.

the -0.84 and -1.01 are kinda low, but they're okay- IF you want a grippt ride.. ideal camber for good handling is -1 deg...

BUT.. it's not perfect.. Nissan spec is +0.5 to -1 or 1.5 don't remember exactly.

But yeah, you need to get your steering rack fixed.. when they fix/replace it, you'll need to have your car aligned again anyway, so you might as well not worry about it until you get that done.

I have the bolts for the front if you're interested. I bought them for the rear, but there are no bolts for the rear on my '89, and since they were special order, they wouldn't take them back(I'm calling the BBB)! They are new, in the box. Let me know if interested.
