Anyone in STL that can help me replace my window regulator

Hey guys wanted to know if someone could help me with this problem I have read a lot on this site and it seems like the regulator may be what's wrong but I don't know....My driver side window won't even come down when I push the button...to get it to comes down I have to push the other button that makes the window go all the way down a couple of times..but then it goes right back up.....My passager side window goes down but hesitates going back up sometime.

I would like to do it myself but scared I will screw up something if anyone lives near me I can pay you for your time.

Hey dude. Replacing the window regulator is a very easy job. Relax. I live in NC and woyuld be willing to help you through emails, etc. Replacing the panel is a simple matter of removing all of the screws in the door panel then removing the assembly that holds the window in place.. Come to think of it you're problem might not be the regulator. It could be the motor itself..

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this job a 3. In comparison, I would rate changing the oil as a 2.

You can do it!!

You can find detailed instructions on How TO section in following link.
http://www.geocities.com/craigbrace/ (Very good info)

Before replacing you may want to lubricate the Window rails. Use a silicone based lubricant (or make sure it is labled safe for use in rubber ;plastic or paint). Dont use WD40.
You may also want to make sure the Switch contacts are not bad.

Yup...THIS IS NOT A REGULATOR! Lets not get this guy on the wrong track here, guys.

If it was, you would not have any window movement whatsoever. In fact, the window would have rolled down and stayed there if the reg cable had snapped.
