Rear defroster

The other day, I had a layer of frost on the back window of my Max. After a 25 min drive to work, the defroster had barely melted any of the frost off. It was definitely working, as I could see where the lines were melting some of the frost off, but it didn't seem very powerful. Does anyone know if there is a way to boost the power going to the grid?

Thanks

check the wiring going to it.. you may have a cut wire somewhere, but I doubt it..

how cold was it outside, and how thick was the frost?
