Balljoints, alternator, P/S pump, Exhaust Flex Pipe
I am replacing all of the parts listed above and was wondering are their any tricks or precautions to take if any? I don't think the balljoint should be difficult nor the alternator. However the exhaust flex pipe and the P/S pump look like tight places to squeeze in a wrench, etc...
I am still waiting for parts to arrive through the mail however I am interested in all comments and/or suggestions in the meantime.

check out the FAQ pages
ball joint replacement is on my page www.geocities.com/craigbrace
alternator replacement is on Bryan's page
exhuast can be tough if the bolts are rusted
PS pump is a pain to wiggle out but it's doable
you should be allright if you have a jack and some decent wrenches/sockets

I would recommend putting in a warpspeed y-pipe instead of just trying to replace your flex section.
They cost a little over $200 shipped to your door and add horsepower. The stock y-pipe is probably the most restrictive piece of your exhaust and a performance one will definitely be noticed. Not to mention, they just bolt right on -- no cutting, welding, fabricating, etc.
Good luck

good luck doing the balljoints like the FSM says, seems like a huge PITA. i replaced mine in an unorthodox fashion which may or may not have hurt anything else in the process.
(strut off, disconnected spindle from control arm, unbolted balljoint and whacked with hammer and picklefork).
good luck.
