bose question

I know that the bose speakers have amplifiers.I'm thinking about mounting my old bose radio in my boat and using just regular speakers. Before I go to the trouble will it work using the regular speakers that don't have amplifiers?

no, the bose radio relies on the amplifiers to work properly. The signal from the stereo is too weak to power speakers efficiently.
