help help help

car isn't starting and im supose to be at school the battery isnt dead and i checked all the fuses but i couldn't find any blown ones i tapped the starter and still nothing i can here clicking from the dash when i turn the key and it sounds like the relay is working so i donno what to do does it sound like my starter is blown?????

sounds like a starter to me, but can't really be certain without seeing it myself. veyr hard to diagnose problems over the internet.

try hitting the key again and again.. sometimes if the starter solenoid is going out, you'll have to hit the key switch several times before it works and turns the car over.

usually that's a slowly progressing thing too- has it ever done this before?

Take a 12 gauge wire from your pos + battery hookup on the starter or another known "hot" lead and then apply it to the hook up on the starter solenoid that activates the starter. If it turns over, then the starter itself is good, and you have to check the solenoid, relay, etc. Figure out where the juice isn't flowing from.

When you do it VERY Careful that you don't ground the hot lead. You can do some damage.

ok i took out the starter and had it tested and its fine so now what could it be a bad relay

maybe a bad batt... or alt.. have u tryed jumping it off some ones else's car??
if it starts then its def. ur batt. or alt.
get them both tested

Maybe your battery doesn't have any acid left. That happened to my uncle after he bought a battery from this POS store.

i finally figured it out its kinda wierd but my stock security system was actually going off but i didnt know because the horn wasnt going off because the fuse was blown for the horn needless to say i wasted a hole morning going back and forth from the auto store i just finally had an idea and i just typed in my code on the keypad and bam it fired right up

ummm, you didn't see the lights flashing?

step #1 is to fix the blown fuses and find the cause.

lights dont flash with the my stock alarm and i did fix the fuse and it was because i had a bad ground with my new air horns problem solved
