Why would you do that? There's nothing behind either plate.

Yeah, that seems kind of like a pointless thing to do.

I don't think it's illegal, unless you drive with the plate flipped up where it can't be seen.

A lot of cars back in the 60s and 70s (maybe even before) have the gas cap behind the license plate. IIRC my 70 Nova SS had the gas cap behind the plate.

I would imagine that you could get introuble if it is not visable. There are a few companys who make kits for this that operate just by flipping a switch, its for cars and trucks that are slammed and the license plate gets in the way.

i think he got the one that is used in street racing....like the ones where you can run through the red lights with the camera but they can't get you because you plate is tileted to far for the camera..........yes you probably will get in trouble for it..they prob will not pull you over for it just add it on w/e else youd di to get pulled over.....unless your car is on the look out for running so many red lights.....also if you have inspections on your car.........in Ohio it is not mandatory but if it is where you asre then i would suggest to put something behind it when you got to get tested

but to each their own........but this mod is for the street racers

I'm sorry, but if your racing threw red lights, your too stupid to work on your own car.

It's just stupid and pointless to race through red lights. But if you don't I just don't see the point of the mod...

i did it only to the front to be funny and unique.... it flips downward while the car is moving because of the wind pressure and i weighted the bottom of the plate so it flips back to normal when stopped... it only flips back about 45 degrees so u can see it but not very good while moving. and also it makes it harder for the cops to reflect with the radar.. yet again i dont race and its just a mod

Unfortunately, since it is a mod that does nothing practical, I have to label it as RICE. Sorry

it's illegal because of the reason it's on.....it's just like any other "off road use only" mod...like i said your not going ot be pulled over for it....but if you get pulled over it will prob be added to the ticket...\

Im glad you like it and you dont want ppl oppion

to each their own

but street racing mods are look downupon and that i what that mod is for.

My liscense plate does the opposite of that... the screws I put in to hold the plate on do not go all the way in and the plate swings in and out from the top in the wind or when I'm driving...
