92 Stalls when it wants to

I have 92 Maxima which will stall - sometimes restart and run fine and other time the battery needs to be disconnected momentarily and then it runs fine. This usually results in setting error code 12 I've checked for air leaks - cleaned grounds ( at least the ones I could find ) changed ECCS relay - I not sure if the MAPS sensor would cause this intermintant problem - Any suggestion? Thanks

I'm not quite willing to put my money down...
In my particular situation, it was very intermittent (sometimes it would drive 200 miles without a problem, other times it would konk out 5 times in an hour). Spoke with several mechanics about the possibility of it being the cat, and they were very hesitant to even look at it as they all said a bad/clogged cat would throw off the O2 sensor, which would flick on the engine light just before the engine stalled. My light would never come on until the RPMs hit 0. Also, the fact that this guy seems to have to undo the battery terminal to get it going again really hints to an electronic problem, in that it sounds like whatever is acting up re-set's itself when the power is off. (this also happened in mine, but I did not need to undo the battery...only turn the key to the off position for about 45 seconds).
Best bet for the guy who started this thread is to take it to someone who has a diagnostic computer and let it stall until a code is kicked out. It took my mechanics quite a few stalls until they got a code.
