I was running some wire into my car for some custom switches and when i put my console and turned on my lights I noticed the lights that usually light up the shifter letters didn't light up. Anybody know how to change them or which is exactly the light connector. I think I might have knocked it loose or something but I dont wanna go messing with other stuff and cause more problems

 

maybe it blew out....
its a 194 bulb... if u have small hands u can reach under the shifter (with that dash part out) and fell around for the buld housing.. it should turn 1/4 of a turn and pop out.

 

Come on fella, just pop up the trim around the shifter & the light holder is right there! Either the bulb blew or you knocked it out of the shifter - otherwise follow the light holder back until you find the plug within the dash (if their is one). You ain't gonna cause any more problems. Sheesh

I probably need more coffee...

 

Took the bulb out and bought a blue LED. Looks much nicer now !!
