there is no chance that one of thoes stupid ""mystery oils"" will help ur enigne (what stupid name too, who would put anything with the name "mystery" in there enigne)

- u have a broken EGR valve ( not likely)
- or a few broken exhaust studs (welcome to the club, i proly have like a dozen of them lol) yes they effect performance and mpg slighly.
- they are every expencive to fix.

-I got a quote to fix all the studs for $400 and that was a very very cheep quote. i should of taken it... i think .. whateva..

My friend had told me that Marval Mystery oil was basically ATF with somethin else in it, he didn't suggest using that either. Said it wouldn' t help anything

I tried the marvel mystery oil. I can't say for sure if it worked or not, but b4 I put it in, it had a pretty bad miss and smoked a lil bit. I still have a small miss at low rpms but no smoke. Seems like it worked though

Hey ChrisCheezer I had to replace 8 broken studs. 2 in the front, and 4 in the rear flank. they wanted to charger me 1100 Dollars. So....

I came to the conclusion of doing it myself. i didnt on my own i replaced the gaskets, water pump, timing belt, thermostat, and all the other belts.

i did this because i had to remove the heads to drill out the broken studs.

i did all this for 400 Dollars.

SO... my suggestionis to just do it yourself. And if you have any questions you can im me at WDz Sin

..... same for you dkris42
