Does anyone know where I can get a set of new chrome outside door handles? I have a gold plating business and want to use my car as an example of what I can offer. The problem is there really isn't a whole lot of chrome on my car it being an SE. I did buy a chrome grill off of ebay to put on it and a gauge bezel for the dash that I engine turned and then plated (it looks pretty cool). I plan on doing the exhaust tips yet too. But I just want a little bit more to put on it. The handles would be perfect to put just a little flash to the side of the car.
I'm fairly new to the Maxima scene. I bought mine last year off of my brother. I think it's great that we have a place such as this to turn to for advice.

no US spec 3rd gens had chrome handles
some of the overseas ones did but not any in the US
4th gens do but it's a different design so that wont help much

 

your best bet is to disassemble the handle and get them dipped.

funny, in the past, the trend was to SE-ize everyones GXE's. are we seeing a shift?

No....not really a shift. I still prefer the de-chromed look. I just need something different to be able to show potential clients an example of what can be done. I'm really not trying to "bling" this thing out. If it wasn't for the business I would leave the chrome off.
As soon as I get it back from the shop (clutch blew apart and messed up the transmission case) I'll get some pictures and get them on here.
