Wow that's terrible! I get about 260-280 if i'm driving around town, but on highway driving when i'm going back an forth to school a lot, i get about 300-320. The only mod i have is a cone filter. To get better milage, i suggest changing/replacing the air filter, replace the spark plugs, and possibly the fuel filter. if you get 150 miles per tank...thats like 11 miles per gallon. my manager's hemi ram gets about that, and that thing is a 5.7l! so yeah, i think it's time to replace some of those things. hope that helps

Most of my miles are interstate, but about 20 percent are town. I usually get atleast 400 miles to a tank.

When my gas gauge is half way I get 150 and that's in winter, 200 in summer mostly city driving. I replaced the filter with z filter, sparks, cone intake. Helps alot.

yikes, you might want to do a tune up, lol.

Check/replace your plugs/cap/rotor/wires/ and vacuum lines. Also you might want to run some seafoam or Marvel Mystery Oil/atf threw the engine. Your O2 may be bad aswell. that still seems really low though. hmmm.

I get around 240-260 per tank refilling at the 1/4 tank mark. Ironically I get better gas milage since I went from super to regular due to the high gas prices. Before on super would only get about 200 per tank don't know why it makes no sense.

My maxima usually averages between 18-24 mpg and so did my Z. And I have a heavy foot from time to time. I can testify to what seafoam did to the max, it worked wonders, well it just runs better. I put some in the gas too. I can't wait to put on my exhaust didn't know that my gas mileage would increase too. Oh yeah does anyone have a tornado fuel saver in their max. I was thinking about getting one and using it with CAI, do you think it would work. Im gonna give it a try more horsepower and better gas mileage you can't argue with that.

Yeah, that's wretched gas mileage. I had a 90 SE 5 spd and got 375 to 400 a tank. And I drove it very hard. Now I have a 90 se auto (sigh). So far I haven't pushed past 320.
Funny thing, one of my injectors stopped working for about 2/3's of a tank of gas and then kicked back on (I haven't figured out why) and I still pulled 300 to the tank.

Out of curiousity, a few folks mentioned exhaust and the cat. I have a feeling that my cat could be slightly plugged since the rest of the exhaust has all been replaced. How are test pipes? I've seen them advertised is there a noticeable difference in performance? Is it about the same as a high flow cat?

I definitely agree with MrGone, O2 sensor. That will drive your mileage down atleast 50 miles per tank. Routine tuneup (plugs, dist. cap, wires) along with a new air filter will also help.

Sorry man, don't want to be a smart a**, but the directions are on the back of the bottle. I just put some in the other day in the engine and gas tank. I was getting 140 at the 1/4 empty mark. I changed the plugs(NGK) had bosch(sucked), fuel filter, K&N air filter. So now the testing begins. I ordered an O2 sensor from NGK.com, so when that comes I should see a great improvement in mileage.
