this is prolly a stupid question, but how do you know that the studs need to be replaced on the exhaust manifold. Can you just tell, is there a noise that is made, im just wondering because i didn't know that this was a common problem. I just want to see if mine are broken too, when i downshift I can feel and hear the engine move kinda hard. Hard to explain, it just that when I downshift really hard you can just hear it move. I figured it was the motor mounts going bad, i really don't know.

-i have other exhaust leaks too and when i replace everything (cat back/flex section/studs), my car should sound like new... i hope
