which springs?

I'm looking at lowering my car and I don't want to lower it too much because I have a stillen kit and I don't want to scrape it on driveways and speed bumps. I'm looking at either eibach with a 1.2" drop all around or suspension techniques with a 1.5" drop all around. I haven't heard too much about the suspension techniques springs. What do you guys think is better?

Here are some of the popular springs available.

Eibach is about the closest to looking stock, it sits pretty high (1.2" drop I think) it is a progressive spring, they cost around $240 new.

Suspension Tecnics are pretty crappy from what I hear, there are not many on the boards running them. I think it is a 1.5" drop. I dont know if many still sale them, but they run around $180

Intrax is personally the best spring on the market, it is progressive and the height is VERY nice I LOVE MINE!!! they run around $200-220 new.

Sprints are the cheapest, they run around $140 the drop is 2" and the ride is crappy. It is a linear spring and a VERY harsh ride from what I have heard.

We do have H&Rs available, but they are rare, there are a few othe springs I cannot think of right now.

As far as struts, you can get KYB about the cheapest for $200 or so, but they are just slightly better than stock. Next up would be tockico around $300 and a GOOD improvement. Personally the ONLY way to go is save and get Koni $500 they are fully adjustable and have a lifetime warrany. They are the best struts on the market and will last you forever.

Thanks for the pics. I think I'm leaning towards intrax now, but do you think it'll be too low with the bodykit, like over speed bumps and stuff?

Its tough to say, it all depends on your driving conditions in the city you live in and where you drive daily. I know Derrick here in SoCal has Intrax and a Stillen kit and never complains. I think I am going to get away with it also. But, if you do not get Intrax, get Eibach.

I have Intrax and a stillen kit. I didnt have any trouble the few time I drove it after putting them on but there are not any really big speed bumps around here.

I just got my sprint springs put on, I like them alot. I can tell a big difference, now my max rides so smooth I love it. I don' t really have a harsh ride at all except if i hit a pot hole or something, besides that no harsh ride. I have the spring tech struts/shocks with them to. No complaints here and the drop is just right for me.
