Oh Crap!

Hey all,
I was just doing some routine maintenence (I've been wanting to learn more about my car) and I took out the spark plugs to replace them with NGK's. Then I noticed there was some sandy sediment around the spark plug openings. I got a vacuum and sucked it out, but I'm sure some of it fell into the engine...
I don't want to start the engine for fear of damage.
Needless to say I know just the basic stuff and this situation is beyond me. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Don't worry,if you only got a small amount, it shouldn't hurt your engine, start her up, drive around the block and change ur oil and filter.

... or disconnect the coil (all spark plugs) and "turn" the engine for 3-5 seconds (without a spark plug in that cylinder)
