Question Regarding the lights

Is there a way to visually tell the difference between the U.S and the Euro spec e36 lights? For example the title says that these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2474291315
are ANGEL EYES HEADLIGHTS EURO LIGHTS 4 but in the description it says that its got a euro light pattern... so does it mean that the whole light is Euro spec or the light itself is U.S spec it jsut has a diff light pattern?

U.S.-spec E36s have a plastic lens, while the Euro-spec is glass.

Only the OEM E36 lights in the US were plastic, the aftermarket ones are made of glass here too. The main difference (which you won't be able to tell by looking at a picture), is that euro lights are bigger--taller and deeper than the US ones.

BTW, the light pattern thing they are talking about is most likely the sharp cut-off all euro lights have by law.
