Is that 18-20mpg in the city or on the highway? For the city, that's
right with the specs of the car. I think you're supposed to get 26mpg on the highway, but few people drive ONLY on the highway. If you do a fairly even mix of the two, I'd expect something in the low 20s would be on par with what you should be getting.

I seem to get about what you're getting, 18-20mpg. But I drive almost exclusively in the city. Stop-and-go Honolulu traffic is a total nightmare--too many cars, not enough roads, and not enough lanes on the roads we do have! But at least it never snows here.

Yeah, I still have the original window sticker of my Max and it shows 19mpg city and 26mpg highway, as being the EPA mileage numbers. HOWEVER, mine is a VE, and I would assume it consumes more gas than your GXE.

BTW, my mileage absolutely sucks. I need a tune-up. Will do it one of these days!

I'm getting around 12 max, but my car is having the fuel filler recall this week so maybe that will hook me up!

I think if I let my mom drive my car it *might* get 500 miles. I can easily pull 300 miles out of 3/4 a tank (not babying it, but also not like a day at the track). I dont understand it, my old black maxipad could barely get 300 a tank, and my 5spd is supposed to have a pretty worn O2. Mainly city driving.
