VG Intake Manifold Porting...Any Gains From This ?

I really want to build up my motor and I got all the basics(Full WP exhaust, CAI, UDP) and I just got a intake manifold off another VG (thanx Paul). I want to get it ported but not polished because I've heard sometimes rougher air helps keep low end. Anybody know how big a port job I should go with or had this done already? I'm going to do the upper and lower manifold and also the throttle body. Aaron ported his but it's the VE so I don't think it would be much help getting info from him (u never know). I'm wondering if a port job would add at least somewhere in the 5-10 HP range. Maybe I'm dreaming.....

I don't know about 10... But a properly done porting job should add at least 5 hp.
