Input Bearing

Has anyone ever had a problem with the input bearing on the manual transmission? If so what kind of prices did you pay to have it fixed?

sure lots have this problem

parts are under 100$ for just the bearings but labor could be more than 800$

answer is yes, twice. both times i had the whole tranny rebuilt while it was out. why not. it's only money. of course, aggressive launches do not help. and the borg warner p.o.s. doesn't either.

Huh... someone offered to rebuild mine for 350. I'm thinking about getting a mster rebuild kit and doing it myself.
