pics lots of pics oh yeah and an egr problem

ok guys after i did my knock sensor my car is throwing an egr code i bet you i messed up a vac. hose some were any way i have the service manual but i cant make heads or tails of the simatic. so you help is greatly appreciated i have been banging my head aginest the wall



help!!!

the car is detonating hot so the car is retarting the timeing this is horrible

Those pics are giving me a headache...please resize them. Anyway, best bet for you is to take a vacuum gauge and start at the EGR valve, and work your way backwards until you find a hose that doesn't keep vacuum under any circumstances. The FSM outlines how to test each component of the EGR system, might want to take a look.

Check to see if your temp sensor connector is corroded. Mine detonated at WOT when the terminals were bad.

Check all your connectors, that they are all fully engaged.
Unfortunatly it could be an injector connector. For the rear bank of injectors, use the subharness to check that their resistance is okay.
