Pure One Oil Filters---what Do You Think??

Any of you guys had any experience with PURE ONE oil filters? I use them on my 93 GXE and haven't had any trouble, but i've read the posts about using ONLY Nissan oil filters. I don't know what the micron rating is on the Nissan filter, but it is fairly good on the PURE ONE. I also noticed that the Mobil1 oil filter has a very good micron rating. I run 5W-30 Mobil1 Tri-Synthetic with the PURE ONE filter, and change the oil every 4-5K. You guys have any suggestions or see anything wrong with this? Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.
I have read that the Puralor(sp) filters? (Pure One?) are pretty good.

Personally I use fram tough gurad filters a bit more expensive but I think its worth it. Fram claims it has a 98% single pass efficiency.

I hacksawed open a used fram tough guard about two weeks ago. I looked like it was made well, could'nt find any toilet paper . As I fished through the fins I could find a couple fine metal particles (mostley from saw shavings i'd bet).
I personally wouldnt go along with what a grease monkey felt about anything technical (beyond his oil changing potential)

Oil Filters
I have been looking at several places about oil filters, and I am about to make a big change in my way of oil changes and their filters. I have seen reports about the greatness of Wix and GM filters. But look at this link and read ALL of it. I have been talking to several people and they swear by this product.
In the past I have read about Red Line on this forum, but nobody seems to think of Amsoil,,,,???? Its used by racers and their literature has wonderfull information in it. I'm interested in it because my company can save about $600 on oil changes alone !
I'm trying to find someone who will power flush my 91 Max with their synthetic Trany oil. They say it will outlast conventional oil up to three times. THey even have a test kit that tells you when you have to change it.
Has anyone else used their products? What was your result? If there is no reply I will post my findings next month

UPDATE
Another chart showing tests lists your Pure 1 as #5on capacity and #3 on Efficency.
Like I said earlier, I havent used this product before but it seems that they are doing something right if they can provide Trany oil and engine oil tests to let a person go up to 35,000 miles without a change. I guess from what I read you change the filter every 12k.

Take a look at Bill94GXE's sig. He has links to all kinds of oil tests that support not only Amsoil but synthetics as well. Amsoil is not a new thing on this board. Try a search on Amsoil and you get mega info also. Good luck.

Anyhoo, Amsoil SDF filters and Mobile 1 filters are the best overall.
As far as bang for the buck, Purolators are the only ones I would use.
I wouldn't ever use Fram just because of the shoddy quality with several of their filters.....

Pure One and Mobil 1 are both very good filters. I personally run both the Nissan filters and also (usually) the K&N filters. The K&N filter is very well made also.
