HOw to drain upper radiator hose?
#1
I'm gonna finish up the engine dress-up tommorow and I wanna do the radiator upper rdiator hose, but how do I drain the fluid currently inside it? and once its drained, do I have to add more fluid? thanks

First go under the car and open the rad plug that's in the right bottom corner of the rad. Once you drained some fluid from the rad you can undo the end that is attatched to the rad and lift up the hose once you get it of the tip, then get a container and tilt the hose so that it all flows into the container, after that you can remove the other end. When you put the hose back on you need to fill the rad to the top then start the car and let the coolant circulate for about 30 seconds so it get's sucked into the engine, then go and top the rad off and put some coolant in the reservoir.

you definetely need to add more fluid after you replace it cuz if you have air bubbles in your coolant system the air pressure can blow any of the hoses out. if I were you I would just do a flush and refill on the radiator and put all new fluid in there.

No prob.
As to how much to put in I don't know for sure keep toping it up till it's nice and full and fill the reservoir half way, so I was told.
After you run the car for for a while and then check the level and fill the rad to the top.
